Sports Injury and Performance Pro Wayne Peter links up with Morda United

As new foundations are put in place we are excited to announce local Sports Injury & Performance professional Wayne Peter will be helping the club.

With 18 years spent in elite football including Newtown, TNS, Shrewsbury Town, Wrexham, Wales and Fifa, Wayne will be our consultant regarding any player injuries as well as assisting the coaching staff in the planning of pre season conditioning sessions. Wayne said "Morda United is very close to my heart. It's where it all started for me many years ago, I was "Bag Man' under the mentorship of the late great 'Jim Drury'. Great days and nights had and if it wasn't for Morda and Jim I wouldn't be where I am now. Also coming from Newtown, being part of the club helped me integrate to the area and meet new friends. You should never forget where you came from so when Tom and Phil asked for my help, I couldn't say no. I'm looking forward to seeing Morda enjoying those great times again and helping in any way I can."
